In Week 1 we learn about how sociologists used theoretical perspectives to model society. Functionalism, Conflict Theory and Interaction are broad perspectives that may overlap in real studies. In our first week, we learn the definition of each perspective by itself. Emile Durkheim, Karl Marx and Max Weber are also introduced.
